As a leading Mailing House, Priority Mailing operates a comprehensive range of database management services to ensure that our customer's valuable data is always working hard for them.

We are RMMHS bronze accredited, with regular inspections by the British Accreditation Bureau and members of the DMA.

Sortation

Client data is imported into a variety of software packages and sorted into Mailsort, Presstream or Walksort sequence to maximise postal discount for clients. A full sortation report and line listing is produced for Royal Mail together with a Final bag label file for automatic production of bag labels. The sorted address file can then be output to inkjet format for production on our SITMA mailing lines, or it can be output as part of a mail merge, as self-adhesive labels, or onto laser-printed carrier sheets.

Prior to production, the client will approve a laser proof of the address layout.

Deduplication and Suppression

We are able to undertake routine deduplication of individual files to find the internal duplicates or the overlap between two files and eliminate duplicate addresses prior to mailing.
We also perform more sophisticated hierarchical deduplication of file lists from different sources, flagging each file with different source codes. A deduplication report is produced for the client to show the file relationships and the overlap of duplicate addresses. Suppression files can also be included and reported on.
Priority subscribes to the Mailing Preference Service (MPS) and offers all clients the facility of MPS cleaning their data.
